You can access a shared calendar in Outlook Web Access (OWA).
When someone shares his or her Exchange calendar with you, you can access it using Outlook Web Access (OWA). You must follow these instructions each time you want to see a shared calendar in OWA.
Open a Shared Calendar in OWA
To open the calendar in Outlook Web Access (OWA), do the following:
1. Go to http://serveraddress and log in with your username and password.
2. The web address will change, so it looks like this: https://severaddress/exchange/.
3. To the end of the web address, add the Username/calendar (where the Username is the Username of a person whose shared calendar you want to open).
4. The new web address looks like this: https://serveraddress/exchange/username/calendar
5. Press Enter to open the shared calendar.
When you open a shared calendar in OWA, you have only "Read Access." You can see the shared calendar, but you cannot make any changes to it, even if you can normally do so in Outlook or Entourage.
Quick Method
Alternately, you can go directly to a shared calendar by typing the full address, as shown in step 4, above. For example, you could type the entire web address as https://serveraddress/exchange/username/calendar. This would allow you to go directly to the shared calendar.
Example: Open John Doe's Shared Calendar in OWA
For example, assume John Doe has shared his calendar with you. John's username is jdoe. To access John's calendar in OWA, you would do the following:
* First log in to OWA.
* Then change the web address by adding jdoe/calendar to the end of the address.
* The new web address looks like this: https://serveraddress/exchange/jdoe/calendar
* Press Enter to open this shared calendar.
