Mapped Drive not holding credentials

I posted this in an older thread today, but here it is again. Try using "net use" on the command line.

  1. 1. Get to the command shell (Win+R, cmd, Enter)
  2. 2. net use Z: \\remote\folder * /USER:DOMAIN\username /PERSISTENT:YES
  3. 2. Type in your password at the prompt

Change the drive letter and other parts to fit your situation. You can omit the '*' if you don't have a password. "/PERSISTENT:YES" is needed so it remembers it on next login. This is theonly thing that worked for me (win 7 ultimate). Try "net use /h" for more options.
